Ruby is 15 and attends Chorlton High School in Manchester.
She plays the series regular role of Zoe-Marie in CBBC's children's BAFTA-nominated series The Four O'Clock Club.
Ruby takes part in drama classes regularly and in July 2011 she performed in art installation piece 11 Rooms at Manchester City Art Gallery, in conjunction with the Manchester International Festival. The piece was devised by Berlin-based artist Tino Sehgal and involved Ruby delivering a monologue in an empty white room. She portrayed the role of Ang Lee, a manga character brought to life reflecting on and questioning what she has seen of the world and required her to engage and interact with audience members coming in and out of the room.
Ruby also performed again in 11 Rooms in Berlin last summer.
