Sam trained as a director at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and has directed theatre for, amongst others, the Latitude Arts Festival, the Actors’ Studio Holland, and the RSC Complete Works Festival.
In 2011 he served as a judge for the Royal Television Society Student Awards, and was selected to talk as a ‘Rising Star’ at the IBC, Amsterdam.
His first feature film, thriller Sons of the Morning, is being Executive Produced by Matador Pictures and is set to star Paddy Considine, Stephen Graham, Sam Claflin and Bob Hoskins.
He is also currently writing The Detroit Six, a movie about a group of social activists turned vigilantes set in Detroit, Michigan. Other projects in development include a biographical film loosely based on the life of Charles Coughlin, the Nazi apologist and radio evangelist.
