Sara Payne

Sara Payne MBE is the author of the international bestselling book A Mothers Story which covers the tragic events surrounding the abduction and murder of her 8 year daughter Sarah, the investigation and conviction of the known paedophile who abducted and killed her and about the launch of ‘Sarah’s Law’. Her book moved and inspired a nation to help her change a failing child protection system.

Sara also co-wrote the bestselling book Where Angels Fearwith bestselling author Shy Keenan and is now working together with Shy on the fictionalised adaptation of this book for a TV drama series.

Sara is an awarded victim’s advocate with The Phoenix Chief Advocates, she was the Ministry Of Justice’s first ever ‘Victims Champion’, she is a highly respected child protection consultant and a chief trustee of her victim support and advocacy charity ‘The Phoenix Foundation’.
