Sara Stockbridge first rose to fame as a muse to fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in the late 1980s and is an actor, model and writer.

Her debut novel, Hammer, tells the hugely appealing story of Grace Hammer, matriarch and jewel thief, who is forced to go on the run when an early crime finally catches up with her.

Sarah's next novel, Cross My Palm, was published by Chatto & Windus in July 2011.
