Sarah Harte studied Law and French in UCC winning a Honan- Kelleher scholarship to study at UCC. She later went onto complete a Masters in Journalism and practised as a corporate lawyer in A & L Goodbody, one of Ireland’s leading law firms. Sarah also wrote features for the Irish Independent and for a brief stint worked for a current affairs magazine. However, from the time she wrote her first story The Zoo Zippers at the age of seven, she has always wanted to be a fiction writer.
Originally from Cork, she lives with her entrepreneur husband Jay Bourke, their son Conn and Lucy their spirited Maltese dog in Dublin. The Better Half is her first novel and Sarah now writes full time.
