Sebastian Armesto plays one of the leading roles of Ben Jonson in Roland Emmerich's feature film Anonymous, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2011.

Anonymous is a historical thriller set in Elizabethan London which explores an alternative vision behind the authorship of Shakespeare's plays.
