Sophie Baker

After graduating with an English Literature degree from Exeter University, I joined Curtis Brown as an intern in October 2007. A three month internship in the books department stretched for six months before I became an assistant in the translation rights department. I was promoted to the position of Rights Executive and work with Betsy Robbins, on the Curtis Brown, Gelfman Schneider and ICM lists.

I enjoy working with our wide-range of authors across many different territories. The highlight of my job is getting to read  some of my favourite authors and pretending it is work rather than pleasure!
