Suzanne Ruta

Suzanne Ruta, is the author of the story collection Stalin in the Bronx (Grove Press 1987), a New York Times notable book of the year. She has also published articles and reviews in The New York Times, Newsday, Voice Literary Supplement, Bookforum, Words without Borders and Women’s Review of Books.

Suzanne is the co-founder of the immigrants’ rights group Somos Un Pueblo Unido, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She lives and works in New York City.
