Julian Butler is a comedy director, producer, writer and editor. In 2007 Julian joined Hat Trick North where he devised, produced and directed the Channel 4 Comedy Lab Documental, directed Torn up Tales for BBC3 and developed numerous comedy / ents / factual shows. Previously Julian worked for Baby Cow, Channel X, and TalkbackThames, made various pop-docs (Fame, Set & Match for BBC2) and co-ran Smile Orange Films which produced a 16 part comedy series (Focus North) and a Comedy Lab for Channel 4. Julian now jointly runs indie company YouPigs and is one half of video mash-up artists Eagle and Feather.
