Mark is the series consultant on the BBC's BAFTA Award winning series Casualty.

Mark is a multi episode writer for the show and leads the core story team. His work includes the 2 parter that kicked off the September 2007 re-launch of the show and episode 25 Sex And Death, which drew huge critical acclaim:

‘The plotting was comparable to ER at its best' The Times

and this Autumn's explosive 2-part series opener Farmead Menace.

Mark's background is in theatre. He has had three plays produced at West Yorkshire Playhouse and has been writer in residence and teaches playwrighting to the young writers group. Mark was interviewed about being a writer by the BBC Writers' Room.
