Rowan Joffe is an award winning writer and director, whose directorial debut, Secret Life, was hailed as ‘a masterpiece' by critics at both The Times and The Guardian newspapers.

His second directing project, The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall, won Rowan a BAFTA Award for Best Fiction Director 2009, as well as a host of award nominations, including nominations for Best Single Drama at both the BAFTAs and the RTS Awards.

In 2010, Rowan completed a feature adaptation of Graham Greene's classic novel Brighton Rock, for Optimum Films.

The true story of one family's fight for justice after their son Tom was shot dead on the Gaza strip by a member for the Israeli Defence Force while working there as a photojournalism student aligned to the Peace Corps. Starring Stephen Dillane and Kerry Fox (2008).

ACCIDENTAL COLOUR; EMPORIUM; OUT OF THE MOUTHS: Three plays written for the Cameron Mackintosh Foundation and produced at the Old Fire Station Theatre in Oxford.              .
