Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Josh Bolt star in The Accused

The Accused

Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Josh Bolt star in the new four-part series of Jimmy McGovern's acclaimed drama The Accused, which starts on Tuesday 14th August at 9.00pm on BBC1.

In Mo and Sue's Story, which broadcasts on Tuesday 21st August, Thomas plays Jake, a young man whose mother Mo (played by Anne Marie Duff) is trying to do right by him and their local community.

In Stephen's Story which broadcasts on Tuesday 28th August, Josh plays Dom, the younger brother in a family torn apart by the death of his mother and the subsequent suspicion of wrongdoing levelled at his mother's palliative care nurse, played by Sheridan Smith.
