Tim Bain

Tim writes TV comedy and animation for preschoolers, tweens and adults.

Originally from Australia, he has written for hit adult comedy series including The Wedge and the Logie Award-winning Rove. He has penned jokes for personalities including Ben Elton and childhood hero, MC Hammer.

With a passion for action-comedy aimed at 6-11 year-olds, Tim has written for series including CBBC’s Dennis & Gnasher , Channel Ten’s upcoming Get Ace and CBBC’s Ye Olde Dragons’ Den.

For preschoolers, he is currently writing for HIT Entertainment’s Fireman Sam, ABC’s live-action Hoopla, and the new series of Numtums, which he co-developed in-house with CBeebies. The show was recently green-lit as a 52-part CGI series.

Tim is the author of several best-selling high school musicals including You're History! and High School Spoofical. Published by Maverick Musicals, they have been performed as far and wide as the USA, UK, South Africa, Australia and Azerbaijan.
