Zoe Cooper

Zoe is a playwright and theatre practitioner. She is currently doing a PhD at Newcastle University and is an Artist in Residence for Newcastle City. Zoe took the M Phil in Playwriting at the University of Birmingham and was on the Royal Court Young Writers Programme. She worked as literary assistant at Hampstead Theatre and now works as a freelance dramaturg and theatre education officer. 

Her play Nativities was produced at Live Theatre in 2012. Zoe is currently developing new work with Live Theatre, the Old Vic and Oval House Theatre.
