Having studied Classics at Cambridge, I worked for several years at Tavistock Wood before working directly with two actors, developing my understanding of the film/TV world.
I joined Curtis Brown in 2019 and currently work alongside Luke Speed in his role as Media Rights agent. I love working in this niche between books and film/TV and reading the work of so many brilliant authors from across Curtis Brown and C&W.
My own taste in books and in TV is broad, but I love to get lost in a good story, and to read and watch things that challenge my world view. I’ve recently enjoyed fiction by authors including Naoise Dolan, Min-Jin Lee, Sally Rooney, Kiley Reid, Candice Carty-Williams, Delia Owens, Lucy Foley and Bernardine Evaristo and non-fiction by authors including Lady Anne Glenconner, Catherine Cho and Tara Westover.
On the TV front, over the last few months I’ve watched and loved THE MORNING SHOW, LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, THE LAST DANCE, the entirety of BROOKLYN 99 (!), MOTHERLAND, SEX EDUCATION and I MAY DESTROY YOU. I’m also a long-time devotee of BBC Drama and my all time favourites include HAPPY VALLEY, THE SPLIT and LINE OF DUTY.
