Adam is the author of six highly acclaimed novels, which have been widely translated and adapted for BBC Radio 4. His latest, Blackheath, came out in Spring 2016 and has been described as 'sensual, involved, poetic, incorrect, and enthralling in its honesty.'

Adam holds a PhD and runs the successful MA in Creative Writing at Kingston University. He is married with three young children and lives in Greenwich, South East London.

Boy Underwater, published in June 2018, is his first novel for children. It was named Waterstones Book of the Month for June this year.

Adam Baron... has a light touch and brings humour to difficult subjects such as mental health and child mortality. So, why not come in? The water's lovely.
