Biography

Debbie Moon is a BAFTA-winning film and television writer. She has had over fifty short stories published in the UK and US, and her novel, Falling (Honno Press) was shortlisted for Welsh Book Of The Year. In 2011, Debbie was selected for Sherman Cymru’s writer development scheme, Spread The Word, and subsequently had a play extract performed in the showcase.

She has written for The Sparticle Mystery, Hinterland, and is the creator and lead writer of the CBBC fantasy drama series Wolfblood, which is now in it’s fifth series and is shown in nearly 60 countries. She also has several feature scripts and television series currently in development.

Nominated for the Kids Choice Awards, Banff International Media Festival awards, and RTS North-East awards.  It won the Royal Television Society award 2013 for Best Children’s Drama, and a BAFTA for Best Writer in 2014.
