Brought up in Fiji, New Zealand and England, Ed is a graduate in Law from Cambridge University and in Acting from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has completed a short course in Producing Low Budget Features at the National Film and Television School, and in Teaching Adult Literacy at Southwark College, London.
Ed has been a professional actor(/waiter), a not-so-temporary office temp, an adult literacy teacher, a corporate roleplayer, a short film producer, the owner of a private-room karaoke venue, and the general fort-holder at home for his growing family. He has also written when he could - including short stories, short film scripts, the odd (in both senses) poem and two unpublished novels. For the last few years he has been able to spend more time on writing and has increasingly directed his attention towards screenplays.
His first screenplay, LANDSCAPERS, a 4 x 1-hr true crime drama, is in development with Jane Featherstone at Sister Pictures, with scripts commissioned by Sky in 2017.
