Janine's debut stand-up show Stand up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated) was nominated for Best Newcomer at Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2019 and won the BBC New Comedy Award 2019 and Amused Moose Comedy Awards 2019. The show has enjoyed sell-out runs at Soho Theatre and will be debuting in the US in 2020. 

New York born Janine is a LAMDA trained actress, writer, stand-up comedian (Laughing Horse New Act of the Year Winner 2018 & BBC New Comedy Award Nominee) and one-third of multi award-winning comedy trio Muriel.
