Johanna Basford is an illustrator and Ink Evangelist who prefers pens and pencils to pixels. She is on a mission to make the world a happier and more creative place and is perhaps best known for her adult colouring books, having sold over 21 million of them.

Her signature style of intricate inky illustrations have been sought by commercial clients around the world, including The New York Times, Absolut Vodka, Chipotle, Sony and Crabtree & Evelyn.

Johanna lives in rural Aberdeenshire with her husband and 2 young daughters, Evie and Mia.
