Comedy writer for film and television

Katherine Parkinson is an actress and comedy writer. She has worked in theatre, film and television starring in The IT Crowd, Doc Martin and on stage in Seasons Greetings at the National Theatre.

Her first play Sitting opened at the Arcola Theatre in April 2019 after a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It aired on BBC Four as part of the Lights Up season in April 2021.

She is currently developing television shows and adaptations with Various Artists and Company Pictures.
