Producer for Television

Liz Lewin started out as a reader for Tessa Ross and Lucy Richer at the BBC. She then went to Tiger Aspect where she worked on 4 series of Teachers and 20 Things To Do Before You're 30 with Jane Fallon and The Things I Haven't Told You with Will Gould. She developed drama and comedy drama for Channel 4, BBC and ITV with a diverse range of writers including Sally Wainwright, Sue Townsend, Stephen Beresford, Lisa Mcgee, Tony Basgallop and Jack Lothian.

 After working for Paul Schlesinger in BBC in-house comedy, and Kate Harwood in BBC in-house drama, she moved to Company Pictures. While working as an in-house producer at Company Pictures Liz series produced E4 comedy-drama Beaver Falls, which aired for two series, and Lisa McGee's comedy series London Irish for Channel 4. She then moved to Channel 4 where she worked as a commissioning editor in comedy and drama looking after shows including Raised By Wolves, Wasted, Ackley Bridge, We're Going on a Bear Hunt and The End of the Fucking World. Alongside this she exec-produced comedy series Crashing for Big Talk, Mad Fat Diary for Tiger Aspect and developed and executive produced Derry Girls with Lisa Mcgee. She is now an executive producer in Sky's drama department, and alongside this will develop and executive produce the second series of Derry Girls.
