Spy follows Tim, one of life’s failures, openly despised by his son, who stumbles into a job as an MI5 agent, after applying for a cleaning job.

In the second series of the Sky One sitcom Mark plays Phillip, Tim’s current divorce lawyer and new husband to his ex-wife. Although he seems square and boring at first glance, Phillip actually proves overly enthusiastic and wholly inappropriate.
