Moogie read English Literature at Edinburgh University. She started her own upholstery business, and began writing fiction when she moved from London to Yorkshire, in a bid to escape the reality of 3 children under 2 and a bit! She enrolled in the creative writing course at the Faber Academy to help write her second book and lives still in East Yorkshire with her husband, three daughters and dogs Ian and Bananas.
