Rachelle Atalla is a literary fiction writer who has a particular interest in the themes of control and influence, and these often underpin her work. 

In 2015 she was the recipient of a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award and has completed a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Aberdeen. Her short stories have appeared in a variety of anthologies including Gutter, Thi Wurd and New Writing Scotland

Rachelle lives in Central Scotland with her husband and son.
