Ronan Ryan is an Irish writer, based in Dublin but originally from Clonmel, and he has also lived in France, Japan, America, Singapore, Australia, England, Scotland, and New Zealand. He has an MSc in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in English Literature from Victoria University of Wellington. He has won an Arts Bursary Award in Literature from Dublin City Council and written articles for The Irish Times. The Fractured Life of Jimmy Dice was named by the Irish Independent Review as one of its ‘Books of the Year’ and it was a finalist for The Lascaux Prize in Fiction.
