Ruby Lott-Lavigna is a writer and journalist based in London. She is currently a senior staff writer at VICE World News, covering stories on housing, gentrification and inequality. Before that, she was the staff writer for VICE UK and the staff writer for Munchies, VICE's food website. She has bylines in the Guardian, the New Statesman, Huck, Prospect Magazine and WIRED UK, and has made numerous radio and TV appearances. She is the mother of the VICE UK NUJ Union, VICE UK's first union, which she was instrumental in setting up.
