Sarah Krasnostein is a writer and lawyer with a doctorate in criminal law. A fourth generation American and a third generation Australian, she splits her time between Melbourne and New York City.
Sarah's narrative non-fiction is inspired by the invisible and marginalized worlds hinted at in the many criminal cases she has read over the past fifteen years. As a law lecturer and researcher, her areas of specialization are the history of punishment, sentencing law and criminal justice policy.
Her narrative non-fiction book The Trauma Cleaner (Text Publishing/St Martin's Press) will be out in 2018.
