Stanley Pickle premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival 2010 and won the McLaren Award for New British Animation.
It has since gone on to win Best Experimental Film at the LA Shorts Fest, Prix Du Meilleur Court-Metrage Award at the Dinard Film Festival, Grand Prize Best UK Short at the Raindance Film Festival, Silver Plaque for Best Animation at the Chicago Film Festival, Best Graduation Film at the KROK International Animated Film Festival, Best Animation at the Golden Kuker International Animation Film Festival, Best Animation at the Cinanima Animation Festival, Best Animation at E-Magicians The Young European Design Conference, Best Animation at Metropolitan Film Festival and Best Student Production Post Graduate Award, Learning on Screen Conference, for the British Universities Film and Video Council, Student Film at the European Independent Film Festival.
Stanley never goes outside. He likes to play with his clockwork toys and every night his mother kisses him goodnight. Stanley is twenty. He thinks this is normal, until an encounter with a mysterious girl turns his world upside down.
