Adelayo Adedayo leads George Kane’s Timewasters for ITV2
Timewasters directed by George Kane comes to ITV 9th October.
Timewasters is a comedy about a struggling four-piece South London jazz band who travel back in time to the 1920’s via a urine-sodden lift in a dilapidated block of flats.
George Kane is a writer, director and editor for television. In 2012 he directed the multi-award-winning feature mockumentary Discoverdale which starred comedy rock band Dead Cat Bounce, and won Best International Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh 2013. His more recent work includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Crashing, Comedy Blap Lives of the Infamous, and ITV's Newzoids.
Adelayo Adedayo leads as bandleader Lauren. The show also features Joseph Quinn as Ralph, Kevin Garry as Curtis, Kevin Eldon as John Logie Baird and Sophie McShera as Rose.
Timewasters starts Monday, October 9 on ITV2 at 10pm.
