Anna Jones’s The Modern Cook’s Year has been named Best New Cookbook at the 2018 Observer Food Monthly Awards in a ceremony at Freemasons Hall in London hosted by Jay Rayner and Nigella Lawson. Now in their 15th year, the awards celebrate the best in food and drink.

Published by 4th Estate in October 2017, The Modern Cook’s Year has been described as ‘a triumph of a book’ by Jamie Oliver and a ‘treasure trove of fabulous vegetarian season ideas’ by Felicity Spector.

Anna Jones is also the author of the acclaimed A Modern Way to Eat and A Modern Way to Cook.
