Anna Jones wins at the Guild of Food Writers Awards

Anna Jones’ The Modern Cook’s Year has won the Cookery Book Award at the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2018. Focusing on how to make the most of seasonal produce, The Modern Cook’s Year contains over 250 vegetarian recipes interspersed with tips on everything from seasonal music playlists to flowers to look out for in each month of the year.

The Awards, which were established in 1996, are the only ones that are judged entirely by professional food writers, journalists and editors and are presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in food writing and broadcasting.

The Modern Cook’s Year was published by HarperCollins in October of 2017 and has been described as a ‘triumph’ by Jamie Oliver.
