BAFTA TV Awards Winners 2018

Sue Perkins returned to host 2018’s BAFTA Television Awards which saw a host of CB talent collect awards.

Three Girls won best Mini-Series, written by Nicole Taylor and starring Ria Zmitrowitz.

Best Drama series was won by Peaky Blinders directed by David Caffrey and produced by Joe Donaldson

This Country won Best Scripted Comedy, directed by Tom George and produced by Simon Mayhew Archer

Murdered For Being Different took the prize for Best Single Drama, starring Chanel Cresswell as Detective Stephanie Farley and Jack Smith as Sean.

Best Returning Series was won by Casualty with Mark Catley as lead writer and co-executive producer, and starring Amanda Mealing as Connie Beauchamp and Jason Durr as David Hide.

Britain's Got Talent landed Best Entertainment Programme with lead writing from Andy Milligan.

Best Reality and Constructed Factual was scooped up by Love Island with writing from Steve Parry.
