C21 2020 International Drama Awards Finalists announced

The finalists for the C21 2020 International Drama Awards have been announced. 

Miss Scarlet & The Duke, with writing from Ben Edwards, was nominated for Best English-Language Drama.

Elizabeth is Missing, adapted by Andrea Gibb from a novel by Emma Healey, ​picked up two nominations, including for Best TV Movie. Responsible Child, directed by Nick Holt, and Sitting in Limbo, directed by Stella Corradi, were also nominated in this category. 

The Crown was nominated for Best Returning Drama Series, with Christian Schwochow directing two episodes, and writing from James Graham

Quiz, written and created by James Graham based on his play of the same name, was nominated for Best Miniseries.

Ragnarok, produced by Sam Productions and Adam Price, was nominated for Best Non English-Language Drama.

In the comedy nominations, Mae Martin and Joe Hampson's Feel Good was nominated for Best Comedy Drama Series. 

Man Like Mobeen, written by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan, was nominated for Best Returning Comedy Series, as well as for Best Performance in a Comedy Series for Guz.

Sex Education, directed and exec-produced by Ben Taylor, with two episodes written by Sophie Goodhart, was nominated for Best Returning Comedy Drama Series. There was also an individual nomination for Best Performance in a Comedy Series for Ncuti Gatwa


Finally, Breeders, featuring writing from Fay Rusling and Oriane Messina, was nominated for Best Comedy Series.
