Claire Askew wins the Bloody Scotland Scottish Crime Debut of 2019

Claire Askew has won the inaugural Bloody Scotland Scottish Crime Debut of the Year, 2019 for All the Hidden Truths.

Bloody Scotland is the leading Scottish International Crime Writing Festival. It was established in 2012 by acclaimed writers Lin Anderson and Alex Gray at the helm, then joined by Craig Robertson and Gordon Brown. Bloody Scotland has brought hundreds of crime writers new and established to the stage. 

Askew's novel, All the Hidden Truths was shortlisted with 4 other books and was awarded the accolade at the McIlvanney Prize ceremony on the 20th September.
