Curtis Brown authors Philippa Perry and Adam Kay top the Sunday Times bestseller list for hardback and paperback respectively.
The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read by Philippa Perry published in March to much acclaim and was heralded as 'hugely warm, wise, hopeful and encouraging' by Alain de Botton.
Philippa has now been a Sunday Times number one bestseller for three weeks.
This Is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay has returned to the top of the paperback bestseller list this week, making it his 44th week at number one. First published in 2017, Kay’s comic and moving account of life as a junior doctor was an instant bestseller. This Is Going to Hurt was Pan Macmillan’s biggest-selling title in e-book and their second bestselling audiobook of all time, and has been awarded the Nielsen Gold Bestseller Award for having sold half a million print copies in the UK and the Golden Pan Award for having sold over one million copies in all formats. Kay also won Popular Nonfiction Book Of The Year, Zoe Ball’s Book Club Book Of The Year, and New Writer Of The Year at the 2018 National Book Awards.
