CWA Dagger 2019 Longlist Announced

The longlists for the 2019 Crime Writers Association Daggers were announced at a reception at CrimeFest on the evening of Friday 10th May and Curtis Brown Authors have been longlisted across the categories.

William Shaw's Salt Lane and Claire Askew's All the Hidden Truths have been longlisted for the Gold Dagger Award.

Claire Askew's All the Hidden Truths has also been longlisted for the John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger along with Overkill by Vanda Symon and Chris Hammer's first piece of fiction Scrublands

The Spy and the Traitor by Ben Macintyre and My Life with Murderers by David Wilson are on the ALCS Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction longlist. 

Dov Alfon's A Long Night in Paris has been longlisted for the International Dagger. 

Simon Beckett has been recognised for The Dagger in the Library prize which celebrates works by an established crime writer that has been popular with borrowers from libraries. It also rewards authors who have supported libraries and their users.

Shortlists will be announced in the summer, and the winners will be announced at the Dagger Awards Ceremony in October. For more information and the full shortlist, please click here
