Derry Girls premieres on Channel 4

Channel 4 comedy series Derry Girls, set against the Troubles in early-1990s Northern Ireland begins on Channel 4 at 10pm on Thursday 4th January. Directed by Michael Lennox, this new six-part series was written by Lisa McGee, produced by Catherine Gosling Fuller.

Catherine Gosling Fuller is a producer who spent 12 years at BBC comedy before becoming an independent producer. Her credits include producing Pramface, Citizen Khan and John Morton's Bafta award-winning Twenty-Twelve.

The series is executive produced by Liz Lewin whose credits include Crashing for Big Talk and My Mad Fat Diary for Tiger Aspect. She is currently working as a commissioner in the drama department at Sky.

Derry Girls begins on Channel 4 at 10pm on Thursday 4th January.
