Emmy Nominations 2019

A number of Curtis Brown clients and their work have been nominated for the International Emmy Awards. Congratulations to –

Brexit: The Uncivil War, written by James Graham and directed by Toby Haynes, which has been nominated for Outstanding Television Movie. The film also features performances by Mark GatissTim Steed and Ruth Madeley.

Stellan Skarsgård, who has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his performance as Boris Scherbina in Chernobyl. Chernobyl also picked up a nomination for Outstanding Limited Series, and stars Robert Emms, Adam Nagaitis, Michael McElhatton, Matthew Needham, Alison Pargeter, Pandora Colin, Karl Davies, Josef Davies and Sammy Hayman.

Succession, executive produced and written by Tony Roche and Georgia Pritchett, produced and written by Jon Brown, written by Susan Stanton and Anna Jordan, and directed by SJ Clarkson, which has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

Killing Eve 2, executive produced and lead directed by Damon Thomas, and with writing by Freddy Syborn and direction by Francesca Gregorini, has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

Veep, executive produced by Georgia Pritchett, which has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, which features performances by Fionn Whitehead and Asim Chaudhry, and has been nominated for Outstanding Television Movie.

My Dinner With Hervé, which features a performance by Daniel Mays and has been nominated for Outstanding Television Movie.

King Lear, which features performances by Florence Pugh, John Macmillan, Simon Manyonda and Arinzé Kene, and has been nominated for Outstanding Television Movie.

The 2019 Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday 22nd September 2019.
