Horowitz, Harper and Hammer Nominated for The 2020 Strand Critics Awards

The Strand Magazine has announced the nominations for the 2020 Strand Critics Awards, and Curtis Brown authors Anthony Horowitz, Jane Harper and Chris Hammer are all up for an award.

The Strand Critics Awards recognise excellence in the field of mystery fiction, and this year are judged by a panel made up of talent from NPR, USA TODAY, LA Times and The Washington Post.

Anthony Horowitz' The Sentence is Death (Century, Harper) and Jane Harper's The Lost Man (Abacus, Flatiron) are both nominated in the Best Mystery Novel category, and Scrublands by Chris Hammer (Wildfire, Atria) is up for the Best Debut Novel Award.

The winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony on 4th September.
