Jeremy Herrin directs on the return of Alan Bennett's Talking Heads

Talking Heads, originally created by the legendary Alan Bennett, returns in a new adaptation to BBC1 with two episodes directed by Jeremy Herrin.

Twelve episodes of individual monologues explore timely themes around death, illness, guilt and isolation. Other directors on the project include Nicholas Hytner and Marianne Elliott. The series stars top class British acting talent, featuring Sarah Lancashire, Lesley Manville, Martin Freeman, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Jodie Comer and Maxine Peake amongst others.

Adapted from the original series in 1988, the new version of Talking Heads has garnered worldwide acclaim and has acted as a balm in these stormy times.
