K J Orr shortlisted for BBC Short Story Award

We're very proud to report that our own K J Orr has been shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award with BookTrust 2016 for her short story 'Disappearances'! She was shortlisted with four other writers from an pool of 478 entries. 

Be sure to catch her on Saturday 1st October at 2pm, when she'll join Kei Miller, Di Speirs and Naomi Alderman at the Small Wonder Charleston Festival as they discuss this year's entries.

The winner of the Short Story Award will be announced on 4th October.
