Lockdown Theatre Festival broadcasts Love, Love Love

Love, Love, Love, directed by Rachel O’Riodran, will be broadcast on Radio 3 as part of the BBC’s Lockdown Theatre Festival.

The initiative was set up by actor Bertie Carvel as a positive response to the coronavirus crisis, which has forced theatres all over the world to close. Love, Love, Love at Lyric Hammersmith was one of many productions that had to come to end.

Isabella Laughland reprises her role as Rose in Mike Bartlett’s play, which centres on the generation of sixties' baby bloomers, focusing on one couple across forty years, driven by economic turmoil.

BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4 are broadcasting four performances meant for stage across the weekend, also including Rockets and Blue Lights by Winsome Pinnock, Shoe Lady by E.V. Crowe and The Mikvah Project by Josh Azouz.

Listen to Love, Love, Love here on BBC Radio 3 at 9pm on Sunday 14th June.
