Marie Pavlenko shortlisted for German Children’s Literature Award

The Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis/German Children’s Literature Award is the most prestigious award for children’s and young adult literature in Germany. It has been awarded annually by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Young People since 1956.

The prize is intended to encourage the development of children’s and young adult literature and to strengthen children and young adults in their personal development through reading.

The winner will be announced on 21st October 2022 at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
