Memorex shortlisted for the French Blogger Award

Cindy Van Wilder’s fast paced YA techno-thriller Memorex has been shortlisted for the first edition of the French Blogger Award (Prix Littéraire des Chroniqueurs Web) in the YA category.

A panel of bloggers selects a shortlist of 10 titles published over the past year across five categories. Other bloggers are then invited to vote on this selection. Votes open on December 1st to give bloggers as much time as possible to read and review as many titles as they can. Winners will then be announced in February 2017.

In the YA category, Memorex is up against Jennifer Niven’s All the Bright Places and Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows among other titles.

Memorex takes place in the new future in which 16 year old Réha’s life is turned upside down after her mother is killed in terrorist attack of which Réha has little recollection. A year later, the young woman starts receiving cryptic messages from an anonymous source and starts delving a bit more into her past only to find out that nothing is as it seems and that the attack has changed her family and herself in more ways than she thought.
