My White Best Friend Goes Online

The festival, co-curated by Rachel De-Lahay and Milli Bhatia, is coming back online thanks to The Royal Court, from the 11th to the 17th of July.

The festival, which first premiered at The Bunker Theatre in March 2019, features voices from writers such as Zia AhmedAnya ReissNina SegalNikesh Shukla and Tolani Shoneye and performances this week from Adelayo Adedayo and Paapa Essiedu. The details of which performers are reading each evening will be announced at noon on the day of the performance.

Hear from the writers as they ask the privileged to step back and recognise their contribution for being part of the problem, engaging with racial tensions, microaggressions and emotional labour.
