Hustvedt and Egan chosen for Waterstone's Grazia Summer Bookclub

Siri Hustvedt’s The Summer without Men and Jennifer Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad have been chosen for the Waterstone’s Grazia Summer Bookclub.

The UK's weekly glossy magazine Grazia has teamed up with Waterstone's to launch a book club. They have selected ten books they consider to be the hottest reads of the summer, with Egan and Hustvedt taking place among them.

New York Times best-selling author Siri Hustvedt's book The Summer without Men is a provocative, witty, and revelatory novel about women and girls, love and marriage, and the age-old question of the difference between the sexes.

Jennifer Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad follows 13 individuals over fifty years, ranging from the San Francisco 1970s music scene to a post-war future. It was recently awarded the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and has been selected for Channel 4's TV Bookclub.
