Samuel Joslin joins the cast of Paddington Bear

Samuel Joslin has been cast in Warner Brothers' forthcoming feature film Paddington Bear, inspired by the character from the beloved series of children's books by Michael Bond.

Samuel will play the young lead role of Jonathan, the young boy at the heart of the family who discover a lost-looking Paddington at the train station and bring him into their home.

Samuel joins a stellar cast which will star Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins as Samuel's character's parents; Nicole Kidman as the villainess and Colin Firth who will provide the voice of Paddington.

Paddington Bear will be directed by Paul King and will incorporate live-action and CGI effects for the creation of the lovable bear.

Simon Farnaby and Gus Brown will also feature.

Filming begins later this month and Paddington Bear is planned for release around Christmas 2014.
