Tony Award Nominations 2022

The Nominations for the 2022 Tony Awards have been announced.

SIX: The Musical has received eight nominations including Best Musical. Lucy Moss is the youngest female Director to be nominated for Best Direction of a Musical. Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow have also received nomination for Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) and Tom Curran has received a nomination for Best Orchestrations.

Conor McPherson has been nominated for Best Direction of a Musical and Best Book of a Musical for Girl From The North Country which has received seven nominations in total including Best Musical

Caroline, or Change directed by Michael Longhurst is up for Best Revival of a Musical.

Jason Robert Brown has received a nomination for Best Original Score for Mr Saturday Night and Jason Howland has received a nomination in the same category for Paradise Square.

The Tony Awards will take place on 12th June at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
